ALLEN FILTERS, INC.
has a long history of reliable
products for straining, filtering and reconditioning fluids in industrial
applications. Their products have been widely used to clean:
Cutting
Oils
Liquid Chemicals
Edible
Oils
Quench Oils
Fuels
Rolls and Stamping Press Oils
Hydraulic
Oils
Transformer Insulating Oils
Lubricating
Oils Coolants
The equipment manufactured
to accomplish this are:
Cartridge Type Filters
- bypass
and full flow
Strainers
- single
basket and multiple element
Oil Conditioning Systems
- employ gravity, filtration, heat, vacuum, absorption
media
and additive replacement technology.
A variety of filter
cartridges are manufactured in many different sizes. Barrier type multiple
stacked discs are used in most full flow applications while annular packed, depth
cartridges with high dirt holding capacity are applied to most bypass
units. Packed designs using fullers earth and other materials are
sometimes applied in applications treating acidic conditions or specific
absorption sensitive contaminants. Multi layer, pleated and reinforced
wire mesh is used to construct strainer baskets and cartridges.
